Christa May is a lifelong educator, community builder, and proud member of Eden Gomez’s extended village. With 29 years in education as a sixth-grade science teacher and Student Council advisor, Christa has dedicated her career to helping young people grow into confident leaders with strong hearts. Along the way, she has been honored with numerous local and statewide awards recognizing her commitment to education, leadership, and service—but what matters most to her is the impact she has on students long after they leave her classroom.
Christa’s connection to Eden is both personal and meaningful. She was there the day Eden was born, later had the privilege of teaching her, and ultimately watched her blossom into a remarkable young leader as Student Council President. Supporting Eden’s journey has never felt like an obligation - it has always been an honor.
Beyond the classroom, Christa is deeply involved in the Boulder City community, volunteering countless hours while serving in leadership roles that support students, families, and local traditions. When she’s not organizing events, mentoring students, or cheering on kids from the sidelines, you’ll likely find her outdoors - camping, hiking, and reminding everyone that growth happens best when we show up for one another. Christa is proud to be part of the Rosendo Gomez Memorial Golf Tournament and even prouder to stand beside Eden as she continues chasing her dreams.
